The Immbulance: end of summer tour

Last week, we took the Immbulance – our mobile vaccination unit – across Swansea and Neath Port Talbot to help residents age 16+ get their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine.

Following the success of these drop-in sessions, we’ve now extended this ‘end of summer tour’ into this week too (week beginning 6^th September 2021).

Get vaccinated before that big event

Following the news that people in Swansea Bay have tested positive for Covid-19 following events like Boardmasters, we’re reminding everyone who is going to an event to get at least their first dose of vaccine before they head off.

Whether it’s a festival, wedding, family holiday or something else, getting your vaccination done can help protect you and the people you meet from Covid-19.

It’s never been easier to get a first or second dose of Covid-19 vaccine in Swansea Bay. In addition to booked appointments, we’re still holding regular first and second dose drop-ins at our Mass Vaccination Centres (timetable for this week below), and taking our Immbulance out to different areas across Swansea and Neath Port Talbot (more information on that above).

Remember, the vaccine can take a couple of weeks to take effect so get it done as soon as you can before you leave!
