Mental Health Support
As we approach the festive season, we want to remind you that your mental health and well-being are our top priority. While the holidays can bring joy and celebration, we also know they can be a challenging time for many.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or struggling, please remember you’re not alone. There’s always someone ready to listen and support you. For urgent mental health support, you can call 111 and select Option 2 to speak with trained mental health professionals.
Additionally, here are a few tips to help you care for your mental health over the holidays:
- Stay Connected: Reach out to friends, family, or classmates, even if it’s just for a quick chat.
- Be Kind to Yourself: Take breaks, rest, and do something you enjoy.
- Set Realistic Expectations: It’s okay if things aren’t perfect—focus on what matters most to you.
If you need additional resources or someone to talk to, our college well-being services will also resume on 6th January to continue supporting you.
We wish you all a safe, restful, and happy holiday season. Remember, help is just a call away at 111, Option 2.
Take care,
Learner Experience and Welfare Team
