Remembrance Day 11/11

Remembrance Day

Every Year on the 11th November we remember those that died fighting in WW1. It marks the armistice treaty that signaled the end of WW1. It was signed on the 11th hour of the 11th day in November 1918.

This anniversary is used to remember all of those who have died fighting in all wars not just the first world war.

At 11am there will be the traditional 2 minute silence, please use this time as a moment to reflect on all those that have died in conflict.

In lieu of selling Poppies this year due to the ongoing conflict we are instead encouraging people to make a donation over at http://britishlegion.org.uk/
