Helô bawb
Dim ond neges i roi gwybod i chi am y gwaith pwysig sy’n cael ei gwblhau ar brif adeilad Campws Tycoch. Rydyn ni’n cael gwared â deunydd o’r enw RAAC i wneud yr adeilad yn fwy diogel ac yn fwy effeithlon o ran ynni.
Beth sy’n digwydd?
- Rydyn ni’n cael gwared ar RAAC ac yn gosod to newydd
- Rydyn ni’n gosod deunydd insiwleiddio a phaneli solar newydd.
- Mae’r gwaith yn rhan o’n cynllun i ddod yn fwy cynaliadwy, gan wella eich amgylchedd dysgu.
Pryd bydd y gwaith yn dod i ben?
Diwedd mis Medi 2025 (yn dibynnu ar y tywydd).
Beth am y tarfu?
- Rydyn ni’n gweithio’n galed i geisio cadw lefelau sŵn yn isel.
- Weithiau, byddwch yn clywed sŵn, ond os ydy hyn yn digwydd, diolch ymlaen llaw am fod mor amyneddgar.
- Cadwch bob allanfa dân ar gau gan eu bod yn gallu achosi dwst i ffurfio ar y grisiau.
Diolch am eich dealltwriaeth a’ch amynedd wrth i ni wneud y gwaith pwysig hwn. Os oes gennych unrhyw gwestiynau neu bryderon, siaradwch â’ch tiwtor.

Tycoch Campus building works – what you need to know
Hello everyone,
We wanted to let you know about important work happening in the central section of the Tycoch Campus main building. We’re removing an old building material called RAAC to make the building safer and more energy efficient.
What’s happening?
- We’re removing RAAC and replacing the roof.
- We’re adding better insulation and solar panels.
- It’s all part of our plan to be more sustainable and improve your learning environment.
When will it be done?
We’re aiming to finish this stage by the end of September 2025 (weather dependant).
What about disruption?
- We’re working hard to keep noise levels low.
- Sometimes there may be louder moments, thank you for bearing with us if that happens.
- Please keep fire escapes closed as they can make noise and dust worse in stairwells.
Thanks for your understanding and patience while we carry out this important work. If you have any questions or concerns, please speak to your tutor.
