Student Union Management Group

Do you want to chance to receive a £300 bursary and have the opportunity to get involved with improving the college and getting students voices heard?

The Student Union Management Group is a group of students that meets regularly to discuss issues important to students and to work on initiatives to make the necessary changes.

Every year, the SUMG greatly contributes to a better student experience at the college. We are creating a new SUMG for this year, and want you to be a part of it! As a SUMG member, you’ll be expected to:

– Attend regular SUMG Meetings

– Meet the Student Union President

– Talk with your department students

– Attend and influence the college’s committees

– Meet with your department manager

– Help with the running of a club/society

And if you meet these commitments, at the end of the year you’ll be compensated with a £300 bursay! Plus it’ll look great on your CV and University applications!
